APC brings the right solutions to the South African market
APC Solutions is proud to announce that it is working in partnership with Cape Town software consultancy SymbioTech to offer joint services to the South African and UK markets.
Symbiotech is a leading South African specialist in Microsoft, Quest and Burstek products, and its services include migrations, application repackaging, deployments, designs and blueprints, integration and automation.
Thanks to Symbiotech’s partnership with APC Solutions, the two firms can now offer customers in South Africa a full spectrum of wireless communications, network infrastructure and mobility products – from point-to-point wireless links right through to mesh networks.
Motorola Premium Partner – now available in South Africa
APC’s entrance into the South African market means that, for the first time, clients in that country can benefit from the services of a Motorola Premium Partner – one of very few firms worldwide that carries the entire Motorola product range.
Similarly, clients in the UK are now able to enlist the expert help of Symbiotech for their software needs.
A team from APC recently visited South Africa to commission and deploy a wireless point-to-point link for the
Westin Grand Cape Town Arabella Quays hotel using a Motorola PTP 300 bridge. A non-line-of-site link, it is now delivering 10Mbps of data throughput.
Projects for clients in South Africa
During the visit, the APC team also held a seminar for Symbiotech clients, demonstrating an already-deployed wireless link and providing them with an overview of the Motorola range.
The work that APC Solutions and Symbiotech have done together is just the opening chapter to a very productive relationship. Members of the APC team will be in South Africa on a regular basis, working on projects for new clients – and as our service grows we plan to open a permanent South African office.
